This Privacy Policy explains how BannerBuilder.Pro collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password hash.
  • Usage information: project activity, feature usage, and device/browser metadata.
  • Billing information: subscription and transaction metadata processed by our payment provider.
  • User content: banner projects, uploads, and exported assets you create in the Service.

We measure the signup journey using a random identifier in the existing browser session and an opaque account identifier for milestones such as verification, saved projects, and successful exports. Private first-party measurement records contain event names, times, and the headline variation shown; they do not contain form contents, passwords, email addresses, website URLs, or IP addresses. No additional analytics cookie or third-party analytics service is used. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for this measurement. Session counts do not identify unique people.

To improve our pages and editor, we also measure page views, visits, signed-in member activity, editor tool actions, maximum scroll depth, and estimated active foreground time. These private records use random session and visit identifiers and an internal member ID for signed-in activity. Referral measurement stores the referring domain and a validated affiliate member ID, never the full referring URL or its query string. We do not collect typed text, AI prompts or project contents in these analytics. No additional tracking cookie or third-party analytics service is used. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable collection; administrator and impersonation activity is excluded. Analytics reports cover up to 90 calendar days and are available only to administrators. Older records are removed on the next analytics collection or administrator report request. Session visitor counts estimate browser sessions, not unique people.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.
  • To process subscriptions and customer support requests.
  • To communicate service updates and account notices.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as hosting, email, and payment processors) strictly to operate the Service and in accordance with applicable law.

Stripe processes subscription and AI-credit payments and related billing information. Google reCAPTCHA processes security signals when protected signup or login forms are used. When you choose AI-assisted planning or image generation, descriptions, public-page material used for a brief, and relevant generation inputs may be sent to OpenAI. Avoid including private information in these inputs.

4. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your Choices

You can update account details, manage subscription status, or request account deletion through Ian's Desk Support. You may opt out of non-essential communications where applicable.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
